Folks, I can't do this alone.
Recently, I was wrestling with the reality of asking folks to join the fray...to help support this work of setting captives free & (very hopefully) healing broken hearts. Praying and seeking and pacing and procrastinating led to a few quiet moments. In the quiet, I sensed a shout,
"If you don't know how to ask for help, you do not know how to live in community."
Oy. That hurt.
As a "helper" or - I prefer "Mr. Fixit Fox" from the Richard Scarry picturebooks of my youth -this is a hard lesson-to ask for help rather than to rush for FixIts.
Thank you for reading this far.
If you are interested in joining the fray-this work of friendship-building and service and love and care among the trafficked and the used, I'd sure appreciate it. My work with the folks in Cambodia is completely supported by people who have heard the call and are sending me as their "person on the ground."
I have no formulae, no seven steps to successfully save the sex trafficked, nor mad skills. I am just a Hobbit carrying a ring and if you know me, you know that I need my Samwise (and coffee) to stay focused and on target.
The link to joining the fray setting up your support for my work with the team in Cambodia is: https://www.adventures.org/give/donate.asp?giveto=staff&multi=.
Thank you so much. Your prayer and financial support will make all of the difference in lives here and far away.
